QM Diagnostics offers a validated panel of PCR's (conventional and real time PCR) as an alternative to the classical Mouse and Rat Antibody production (MAP / RAP) test.

Direct molecular testing on the biological sample of interest saves 4 weeks of "waiting-time" (time for antibody production) in the classical MAP / RAP test and contributes towards the reduction of use of laboratory animals.

The molecular panels for the MAP and RAP test are listed below. It should be notified that a PCR for Mouse Thymic Virus (see classical MAP test) is not available.

When you intend to send genetic modified material QM Diagnostics has to judge whether it is licensed (Permit DGM/RB IG 10-007 of The Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial planning and the Environment to test your material. As a consequence all requests should be announced in advance before sending of the samples. QM Diagnostics will contact you after judgment of your request. Upon approval QM Diagnostics will make an appointment for the delivery of the material. Please contact us for assistance in the procedure.
